history in short

It all started in 1979 in the basement of our house on Selniska c. 30 in village Ruse, with only one injection machine.
We started making moulds by ourselves because we had to maintain the ones we used for production of plastic parts. But it wasn't just that - more and more of our existing, but mostly potential customers, asked for new products at a reasonable price that we weren't able to deliver with an externally manufactured moulds.

Year 1982 was marked by our removal from the basement into a new industrial hall behind our house, where we also put our first new injection machine from a German manufacturer Arburg. It really was an event!
Our main products were head restraints and arms for a company NTU from Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia). For them we made and maintained moulds that we used to produce plastic parts with. But we didn't limit our client list to only this company; we made more and more moulds and also produced plastic parts for an ever increasing group of satesfied customers. To mention only a few products: small pots for candles, elevator mangers for Tovarna dusika Ruse, parts for Obod Cetinje for washing machines and refrigerators.

The hardest year for us from a bussines point of view was 1991, when the Yugoslavian market closed because of the split-up. This had a great effect to our bussines, since Yugoslavian market consumed almost 90% of our production. We were forced to find a reliable customer either in Slovenia or abroad. That's when we started working for a company TOMOS - we are still making moulds and produce plastic parts for their motorcycles.

In 1992 we started with a production of plastic bottles (from PET). Our first customer was Sera from Germany and we actually bought the ASB50 machine based on their inquiry. We were the first in Slovenia to be able to make PET bottles directly from granules (we made our own preform).
A year later we started working with DENNERLE GmbH, also from Germany and we are still cooperating with them. We produce PET bottles for fish medicine and inject plastic parts for use in aquariums.

Workshop built in 1982 was getting more and more crowded, untill we decided in 1995 it was necessary to expand it. But the extension was full even before it was actually built - we namely already bought a new machine - the largest thus far. It is an Engel injection machine able to inject parts of up to 1kg.

It soon became clear, that we expanded our workshop to the maximum limit and there is no way to increase it any further. That's why we purchased an industrial hall of a former plant TOBI in a village Bistrica ob Dravi - app. 6km away from our current location.

In 1997 we bought the first CNC machine - HYUNDAI lathe with a Siemens controller that noticeably streamlined the making of PET moulds. PET moulds namely consist of a lot of parts most of which must be lathed. The fact that more parts (up to 12 or even more) must be exactly the same made manual work even harder. With the CNC lathe production takes less time and all pieces that need to be the same are now exact matches.

In year 1999 we bought another CNC machine - this time it was a CINCINNATI milling machine. In order to make programs for it we needed to buy a software package that would enable us to design a product, mill it on the CNC machine and thus create a product from the idea to the finished piece. We decided for Pro/ENGINEER and so we are now fully equipped for making moulds on a computer. This consequently increases speed, precision and quality of the final product.
